Have you ever seen a rainbow
after April showers?
Or dancing in the breeze
a field of wild flowers.
The roses, year by year they bloom
such beautiful colours and sizes.
They always give a good display
In crystal cut vases.
Snowdrops, so pale and frail
just spring up overnight.
No matter how cold it is
their timing is just right.
When you see golden leaves
you'll see the autumn glow.
Lovely to see the rusty colours
before we see the snow.
The trees they stand so very tall
and look toward the sky,
sheltering the tired birds
as they get ready to fly.
Throughout Spring and Summer
Smell the perfume of the flowers.
Yet spring also sees us smiling
even during April showers.
God gives to all of us
this wonderful nature to see.
Let us all then embrace it
Lord God and thank thee.

beautiful. the rhyme wasn't forced at all, probably because it wasn't too consistent. that part could have been better, but otherwise great piece.
