Dear dear Tyler
let your spirit soar with the angels
your untimely death,
shocking us all
I saw you just today,
In our highschool's hall...
I never thought that only a few hours later
you'd be gone away
I didn't know you as well
as i wished I had
a great persona you did have
a great guy, all around nice
wound around a tree,
you're life fled from thee
No one really knows why
however your sudden absense makes us all cry
This is all so surreal,
it's hard to describe how I feel
Why Lord?
Why did you take him home?
I guess your need for him was greater
than our mortally own
Take care of our dear friend
and dear son
as we sit here in disbelief
our glistening tears do run
We will miss you Tyler Coughlin

Author notes
This is a poem written about a boy who I barely knew that went to my school. He died today May 10, 2007. He was only 15 years old. He died by losing control of his car, not wearing his seat belt and hitting a tree. R.I.P Tyler Coughlin, We love & Miss you
