Bitter Taste

Don't burn your soul with tears of melancholy,

Their venom is too deep.

This rain can't quell the acid sting

Of their animosity.

Defeat is something to be walked upon,

And left in blinded sight.

So march with strength past muted fools

And leave your shadowed box.

Please tell me what you think

My favorite line is, "Defeat is something to be walked upon." Sounds like something that would work great as a quote by itself. But the rest of poem is really good too. I love this quite personaly. It's very beautiful.
