Part 1 - Winterbourne
Grey frozen fluid,
formed solid and cold by winter’s chill.
Still, enchained by frozen time,
with held breath --- waits patient for the thaw.
Part 2 - Spring break
Slow motion, swirling below the cold.
Cracks part, inhaling warm spring air.
Grey transforms hesitant to blue.
Stillborn ice melts in springs gentle embrace.
Giving birth to cool crisp newborn flow.
Tiny gurgle whispers a summer wish song.
Part 3 - Summer Haze
Babble, free and joyous shout surrounds,
dashing through the rocks with breathless glee.
Spreads and flows as bleak grey turns into green.
Bounty emerges to feed blistering summer demand.
Now, satiated with summer sun’s hot passion touch.
Part 4 - Autumn falling
Green quietly dims to amber's and reds;
covers all about in a bright harvest shawl.
Summer brooks gleeful babble slows;
changing to drowsy fluid flow.
Sleepily prepares the earth about,
in response to the advancing winters call.

Great Job!
Very good description of the changing seasons! Keep it up, I see you are making progress!

very good flow of the seasons. if you so desire i can see places where each section may be extended and detailed further as well as a possible delve into autumn and the cycle's rebirth into winter. but as for these three parts I do like the transformation you've described here of grey to green. you paint many stunning visual and even audible images and ideas.
good write and good luck in the contest.
