The Truth About Forever

You told me once to spread my arms apart and try to fly,

I looked at you like you were crazy but I didn't ask you why,

So now I spread my arms out one to the sand and other to the sea,

Oh how I would feel much better if you were here with me.



Out in the distance I stared and started running until I lost my breath,

So I flung myself into the sand thinking I was close to death,

all these thoughts running through my head even though I was sitting still,

that fact that when I am not with you everything just falls downhill.



I thought I told myself that without you im alright,

but thats different then what im feeling now, lying without you here tonight,

So I guess Im one of those people who are blinded by what they cant see,

what really kept me up all night was the thought of you without me.
