Showering in black it sits all alone,
Encased in glass a rose bleeds from its thorns,
Decaying in the light upon the pedestal of stone,
Wilting away the dying flower mourns
Flames engulf the palace scorching the white walls,
Black encasement of soot covers all as night falls,
Darkness of the evil spreads and consumes the rose,
Magick of the vile kind, that of which nobody knows
Encrypted in the walls a spell begins to form,
Fatal words escape the tomb of the Wicked,
As daylight wanes the dark begins to swarm,
Misery and agony echo off the walls
As the sun rises again the rose continues to wilt,
A petal falls; the darkness is over come with guilt,
Shading from the light, the darkness taints the glass,
Time seems to slow, even as years pass
The rose begins to take on a strange hue,
From white to gray, and from gray to black,
The thorns still bleed there bloody dew,
And the petals, 'o yes; evil they do not lack
The once majestic palace now lies in ruins,
But the black still beats on,
Pulsing like a magick heartbeat,
Producing the darkest of spawn
In the shadows they linger,
Feeding off the pain,
Redemption they hinder,
Leaving the light slain
One day the spell shall be broken,
And the rose shall be released,
And if the right words are spoken,
Evil will raise the deceased
So a warning is carved into the entrance,
Take heed and not the chance,
For if the rose gets into the wrong hands,
Death is all that will be known to all the lands...
