the sand in your toes
the gentle lapping of the waves on the shore
the birds above crying for food
the air thick with moisture as the fog dissapates
the red sun rise appearing over the lake
the lonely loon call in the deep
the feeling that nothing matters
just here and now
the splash as a fish jumps close to shore
the sounds of a camp waking up
the crackle of the fire in the distance
and you realize
times like these come once a year
they are the summer dreams to remember

I think that this is a good write. I don't think is very true though. I mean I have a nice fire every weekend. And regardless something tends to matter in life almost all the time (except rare occasions)
well done thanks for entering
