I searched for many hours for a thankful muse to write,
But what words can describe the only one who shows me right.
Most marriage vows for now, in many years will have been lied,
But in sickness and in health Mum, you are always by my side.
I’m not a perfect daughter, but you’ll always have my love,
In head and heart and spirit, on this earth and far above.
You help me through life’s lessons, and you teach me all you know,
You’ve learnt when’s best to hold me close and when to let me go.
So thank you Mum, for everything, I’m still you’re baby Boo
And I know wherever I may roam; your love will keep me true.
