O Brother Where Art Thou?
I looked for thee out in the fields
That we gave our water to sow.
I looked for thee amidst the grass
Were we would lie and sleep;
But you were not there,
Ah, where have you gone?
O Brother Where Art Thou?
My eyes would not believe the sight
And my heart could not comprehend.
Slowly into the depths thou went
Yet my hand could not let go the earth -
For within my palm I expected to feel
Thine touch reassuring me.
O Brother Where Art Thou!?
Speak not to me -
You embasseries of sorry words!
Not here will my greif be shone
For you are not worthey of it.
I shall return to the fields
And to the Hills of Grass
As this place is not worthy of such memory.
O Brother...Where Art Thou?
My soul lies estranged -
Fusioned from womb
I though it would last to tomb.
This void in my heart,
This rip in my mind
Can only be healed
By God's good hand.
O Brother There Art Thou.
Teach me not to weep
And to hold life continueing
For soon our souls shall be refordged -
But O Brother!
Where only thou here!

Beautiful.
Simply beautiful, the ending was the one I had hoped for and if had not found you probably would be reading a comforting sermon of some kind.
Wonderfully written though, overflowing with emotion. Keep up the good work. Thanks for entering the contest and I wish you the best of luck.
God bless,
Onyx

Thanks - but I think I ended it a bit too soon. I should have explored more into the spiritual and healing aspect. But thank you for your words nonetheless.
God Bless as well,
