And the tears
The darkness clouded up
Consuming all of me

The walls are staying up till the end

How can I tell that your being true
I'm scare because I feel for you
The emotions that I never knew
Through all the hurt and pain
The walls have stayed
Kept me under the locks and chains

I know these words well...
The darkness is a cape we all wear at some point...in fact...I never take mine off.
It's hard to tell sometimes when someone's being honest, particularly if they're genuine behind their veil of fallacy.
Your heart silences your mind with its heavy beating, like charging into a battle without readying your shield...chances of survival are slim at best.
You're not alone.
