Phoenix ~ My Precious Son.

Phoenix
You are the joy of my world.
With your soft chubby cheeks
and sparkling blue eyes,
How I love to watch you
look at the world in wonder..
Your little hands carefully touching
different things,
Your little fingers holding onto one
of mine.

My sweet baby, You are pure sunshine.

Mummy loves to kiss your chubby feet
She laughs when your toes scrunch
on her mouth
She laughs when your eyes lighten up
as you kick your little legs up and down.

I love the great big smiles you
give just for me, like Mummy is your
sunshine too.
And when its time to sleep, I smile
as you close your big blue eyes
and snuzzle into Mummy's chest.

I will take care of you always
I love you Phoenix, my sweet Angel.







Author notes

I wrote this when my son was around 10 weeks old..(he is now 15 months) And not one word of it has lost its meaning. I love you my baby and i will be here forever.

    This is a truly beautiful write dedicated to your child. When he's/she's older and can read this, he'll/she'll know how very much he's/she's been loved and cherished. It's a magnificanet keepsake for him/her to take into adulthood with them. Your grandchildren will treasure it too

    This was such a lovely tribute for your daughter I found it nice and hopeful. Good use of alliteration here, for example, 'chubby cheeks'.
