I'm Still here,
but you ignore me.
I'm still here,
but you steer from my direction.
I'm still here,
but you don't even think I exist anymore.
I'm still here,
and although I try to talk to you,
you run.
I know what I did,
it was wrong.
I know that.
I know that what you did was the same,
but you blame me.
Say it's my fault.
We were together on this,
we went through it,
and I got in the trouble.
I'm still here,
but you stopped caring.
I'm still here,
I know you know,
too.
I'm still here,
and I wonder if you'll ever understand.
Just because of what I did,
doesn't mean you should stop caring.
I thought we were the best for friends,
but friends just don't back away.
I'm still here,
even though now a piece of my heart is gone from where you once have been.
I'm still here,
and I wonder if you'll ever know it.

Good.
Very emotional piece. Like you've been sitting with something so long and finally it depicts itself on the page. Repetition is good, adds to the feeling, but at times a bit overdone. Still, a very good write indeed. Keep up the good work, and good luck in the contest.
Onyx.
