No arms can wrap around her,
No love can truly be shown,
Without tears falling from her empty eyes,
No love except her own.
Longing for a hug from them,
Just one to show they care.
Not one was shared for nine whole years,
There’s no longer one that she can bear.
Reminders of what she never had
And how somebody could ever love her,
When she feels stupid and worthless,
Those moments are just a blur.
Tears spill down her porcelain cheeks,
Her eyes look down at the ground.
She can’t stand the loving touch,
She feels inadequately drowned.
She thinks she doesn’t deserve their love,
After all she put them through.
Yet all they did was love her,
Yet her. She never knew.
Now no arms can wrap around her.
No love can truly be shown,
Without tears falling from her empty eyes.
No love, except her own.
She feels she doesn’t deserve it,
And can’t take a loving touch.
Taking away her happiness,
Their love, it’s just too much.
Please tell me what you think
