In Empty Spaces

Life is as the wheel
hub, rim, many spokes.

Life and wheel have power
in empty spaces between -
where thoughts live
and nothing dies.

So my beloved it is there we meet
now and ever;

where time knows no direction
and existence and virtuality
whirr in clouds and strings
playing musical chairs.

Where my thought of love,
eternal wish for togetherness,
shall lay with your thought
and the passion of our love
- light -
will stay in the place where nothing dies.

The emotion richly woven into the poem is gorgeous. I love the last stanza best! It is almost a poem all on its own.

    I really liked:
    "Where my thought of love,
    eternal wish for togetherness,
    shall lay with your thought
and the passion of our love"

    Good luck!

I loved those lines and the way they connect with the last few lines. Wonderful depth of spirituality and love here...a circle complete. Beautiful.

Marvelous. The endless wheel of being. wwhen I think of its depths and the places it intersects with other wheels it is quite inspiring. I think of Black Elk and his thoughts and think of the cosmic wheels of planets and solar systems...i think of the wheel that brings lovers together...and quivers run up my spine.

A poem that incites quivers....Now that is a good poem!

    Bravo!

    Interesting Concept

I feel this one shows us, even with all the turning. The wheel of life, still provides space to love, enjoy, and live. Plus this is a strong metaphor of the quote: "Life Goes On!" The read wonderful, and the concept could be seen different to others, as my daughter saw it....But I see it as the wheel of life,
    hope you don't mind....excellent writing...novy

If the lines in between are to be drawn together with your pen, it exists simply between a man and a woman in love, no other thought process can fathom a way through for they dwell within each others souls. Lovely Love, C
