The monster inside

look past
look deep
into my soul
theres a giant hole

left by hate
destined by fate
to be eternally there
with its blinding stare

holding in its arms
my dreams
my fears
my realities

it crushes them
with my rage
just another page
in this neverending story

called life...

To tell you the truth, The piece of poetry I consider my best, is one exactly like this one. It has a different tone but same topic exactly. This is excelent in presentation. I like the background and colors used it also adds to your piece. Great job. Good Luck ~peace

I like how you with those lines define life. The simplicity is great in this and the rhyming makes it sadder. Very nice!
