Lady Of The Moon

From where did my voice come from?
And to whom does these echoes belong to?
For I said not a word to the sky
And yet as whispers speak
Cool breezes
Softly blow on by

First a gentle touch
Then a soft word
And chills crawl up my spine

Well said
Said a voice spoken
Seven times and not
A taint or a slight blemish

Who am I
To the sky
For it to claim right
To speak so plainly as if I
Should accept simply every word
Uttered in harmonius sounds
Like that of a choir singing?

I have lost thee
In thine vastness
I have sought thy face
And found only the bounties
Of the universe
And have asked it
If it new every star and did
They all have names

For wondrous is the universe
Giving each star a place
Is it you
Oh moon
They call
Lady of the lake?

Such prowess and brilliance
Are found in your reflection
As you touch in silence
My face

Lady Of The Moon
What say you with your
Eternal words
Of timeless space

As I watch each night owl
Fly by to touch your grace
I too wish if I could
Sit on a cloud
And whisper songs
Softly to your ear

For now here I'll stand
And look upon thee
Count each star to gaze
And draw nearer to thee
With my eyes to find
Pulling closer in that place
Where I could share and bare witness
All that I have honestly found
While watching and waiting
To see once more
The smile from your face

While ehoes whisper
And soft breezes blow
I'll know
That your words
Have found me invitation
To such a noble stay

What are things that matter most, but we take for granted? Truly we can answer this while looking in the mirror or gazing into a calm lake.

    wow

a wonderful write including nature and the power of our intuition and self worth things that we tend to overlook with our daily troubles! That is what I got from this,it spoke to me in a way that may not have been anticipated,it was great...took me to another place!

You habe a very smooth crooning voice in this poem.
It keeps the reader focused which is good since the poem is very long. That does not matter when the poem is good like this one is!
