Embarrassment, Regret, Joy

We had weeks to do this;
Months, if we so chose.
I, however, waited until the last possible minute.
And as he collects, I have nothing to give: embarrassment.
Now I wish I could go back,
And have fit it into my schedule: regret.
Last night I went out with friends,
Walking around,
Hanging out,
Rolling down hills,
Dancing in the rain,
Screaming for the lightening: joy.
No, I wouldn’t change that,
Not for this stupid project.

    agreed. im the same way with procrastination. but i do always get it done. im the kind of person who cant balance friends and work well so i do wht i want and at three am the day its due i get up and do it. but tht is also my insanity at work.
    to tell you the truth, finding a good balance seems to be one of the hardest things for people our age.
