Welcome to this season's fine cyber event.
Penman has sprung lots of points to be spent.
He splurged lavishly, since none of it's real,
this virtual show shines on pure word appeal.
A waterfall entrance of chocolate champagne
greets guests on arrival; who would abstain?
No pure crystal goblets provided to hold,
Grab Penmen's trophies to drink liquid gold!
Meandering minstrels croon Andy's love songs,
Jackie sparkles in silver as poor Andy longs
to caress and undress her as evening unfolds.
Desire mandates a cold shower, I'm told!
Crudités plenty in vast shades of green,
presented on platters by muses unseen,
for green is the color of highest esteem.
(Green cups dominate my poetry scene.)
A seven tiered cake (Robert) frosted in bronze
is served by the muses with gold plated tongs.
An Ezra Pound cake? Peer closer to see,
I'm afraid that the baker is dear Sara Lee!

Very playful and cute.
In line five, are you sure you don't mean "champagne," as in the drink, where you say "champaign," which would be used to describe a field?
Thank you for your entry,
Best of luck.

It's a virtual thrill, anyway! I had fun writing this. I keep going back to it to improve it bit by bit.

It's great. But heck, we might even see about making it really happen, but then it depends on how deep Andy's pockets are. Didn't ask him though. Guess it wouldn't matter huh?

Good and Fun
Penman often forces me to the dictionary and he would be pleased that I had to look up crudites. The way that green trophies are thrown around, soon they will be dominate on everyone's page. This is a humorous poem for which I think you. Thanks for entering and send some of your friends. As you noted, our host spent a lot of points. I'd like to see more entries. You are in the finals. Much success!
Andy
