She stares so intensely
at the mirror of her soul,
touching that hope,
which the wind of circumstance
took away
only yesterday.
The prince of every wish,
a warrior of star-crossed bewitching passions
who now comes only into her dreams,
being the only one she knows she'll ever
imagine loving,
beset in her being by a promise of devotion
in his letter of tears and burning affection,
delivered by his servant.
But now he's off on a valiant crusade
leaving her to spend
each day
gazes deeply, insides fluttering with anxiety,
at his reflection which shines back from her aching heart,
praying the fairy tale story
her desires have penned on her scroll of fantasies
will end in the ecstasy of seeing
him riding down the road to her home
and into her waiting arms.

Now this is a very beautiful romantic poem. Your words create such lovely images and thoughts for the reader.
I love this part of the last stanza:
