TRUE FRIENDS

A  true friend  is very hard to find
They can be closer than a brother
And more cherished than a precious jewel
Of all the friends that I have made
U are the dearest and truest friend of all
Thru all my ups and downs
Thru all my highs  and lows
U have been there to lift me up
To hold me close
When waves are rough
And nights are hard to face
You have been my hand in the darkness
And my blanket when the nights are cold
Of all my friends u are the dearest
And closest to my heart
And when for u times are too hard to bear
Come to my arms and find peace and comfort there

    Good poem about friendship and a lovely tribute to Angel of Lost Causes. I don't really like chatspeak in poetry though, so I'd prefer 'you' and 'through' to 'u' and 'thru'.
