Ever flowing
Like a river left unchallenged
Caring not for schedules
For plans
For overbooked calendars
Time
It is not dictated by silly clocks
Watches stop and break
Yet time continues on
Ever ignorant of man-made machines
Time
It cannot be measured
By hours
Minutes
Days or years
It is not trapped by these simple words
Time
Never ending continuum
A concept lost
In the ever changing of days
Moments of forever
Misunderstood
By man’s interpretation
Time
It is intangible
Immeasurable
Unrestrained and wild
Man, forever, has tried to tame it
This concept of time
But it is ruled by no man
Time
Beyond our understanding
Incomprehensible
We live
Too limited by the present moments
Yet time has no present
Only past
And an ever shrinking, eternal future
Time
Untouchable
Uncontrollable
Yet reaching in
Controlling our lives
Time
