This is about the messages you get that say, if you are really a friend then send this letter along, or If you REALLY love God and aren't afraid to say so then re-post this. Better yet if you love this person then you have to do this one thing like buy roses or whatever.
Well it's time to take a true perspective on things. These little letters may be quote "cute" but they mean absolutely nothing. Sure you can post something, but that doesn't mean anything. If you love God, you shouldn't have to be pressured into posting crap. You should just live your life as best you can even though you may screw up.
If you have real friends then you shouldn't have to send them a silly message every five minutes saying some mushy thing, you should ACT like a friend (which I know that I've messed up on big time in the past, and I'm trying to do better Id. I'm sorry.)
If you love someone sending them roses is stupid way to show it sometimes. Just be there to listen, to them, open a door for them. Whatever.
The point being sending silly messages like this every once in awhile don't make the person. If you want any of it to work then YOU have to do something about it. Not just stick a band aid on and hope everything heals itself, because SCARS will be left behind.
I've been getting a lot of mail saying if you are a real friend do this if you REALLY love God do this. I'm sick of stuff like that.

This is so true. I've been on the receiving end of these, and I just ignore them, because who are they to make any judgements based on something so silly? I liked the message in the 5th stanza especially, and the whole poem has a good rhythm to it.

but i love the overall message you are sending about the reposting stuff about how we'll love God if we do this... every time i see those i just get upset but if its a cute story that i want others to read i'll cut off the part about the do this if you love God, but ya, back to your life and not mine lol anyways! good job, keep writing lol just relaying the same ol same ol lol -
Ha! I wrote something like this. It started, "Sappy. Crappy. Email forwards..." I forgot the title though. You probably read it long ago. Good one!
