AT SCHOOL
dressed in all black,
hair falling in her face,
she acts like such a loser,
acts like such a disgrace.
she lies and say she doesn't care,
none of it matters in the end,
but in truth,
all she wants is a friend.
AT HOME
quiet as can be,
doesn't want to start a fight,
this life a sneaking around,
it just isn't right.
scared to be happy,
for fear he'll take it away,
if it wasn't for her brother,
in that hell she would stay.
AT SOFTBALL
hair pulled back,
her face you can see,
her eyes shine with hope,
a life so full of glee.
while at home she's a problem,
at school she's a zero,
she comes to the game,
nothing but a hero.
she wears all black,
you think thats what she's about,
but in truth,
she could strike you out.
so don't judge by the clothes,
in truth they lie,
cause while you thinks she's below you,
really she's touching the sky.
