New Strength

Passion guiding, beauty within shines on the outside
Walls build up from pain inside, scared, and pushing away
Climbing this mountain together in faith, strength arises

This was really nice, this can relate to many of us having to go about every day with a smile on our face but inside we are simply dying, it is only our strengh that carries us through. Good luck in the contest.

This is quite a lovely poem. I enjoyed the word usage as well as the overall optimism the poem represented. I think this poem proves that even brief poems can be profound masterpieces. I also think you made excellent use of the image that the contest host provided. This was a wonderful poem. Best of luck in the contest.
