In the smallest of forms.
My angel appeared,
The day Jenna was born.
She has no halo,
Or wings to fly.
She's my daughter you see,
She didn't fall from the sky.
She has big bright blue eyes,
And cute chubby cheeks.
With a million-dollar smile,
That makes my heart weak.
We play silly games,
Like Peek-A-Boo.
And Pat-A-Cake,
And the piggy game too.
She jumps up and down,
When it's time to play.
And I sing her to sleep,
At the end of the day.
She giggles and laughs,
At silly faces and sounds
She cheeses and flirts,
Where there's people around.
She loves bathtime with ducky,
And the bubbles in flight.
She kicks and she splashes,
And she coos in delight.
She gets sick and cranky too,
But I know it soon will pass.
Before too long I will have,
My bouncy baby girl back.
Though she's not all smiles,
Laughter, ribbons and curls,
She is my angel-
And I wouldn't trade her for the world.

Thank you so much....she's the light of my life, and in my opinion the most beautiful thing on this planet. But what mother doesn't think that about their child?

I love it!......nothing sweeter than a mother's love...and what a special child,....we share the same birthday, watch out for that scorpio

haha that's awesome....yeah so I've been told on watching out for scorpios....they're apparently sassy as can be, and Jenna is just the fiestiest little baby I've ever known, and she has a temper out of this world lol....but she's fun.

What a beautiful poem As a father who has raised three daughters I can recall the joys that they brought into our lives.I now await my first grand child with the same anticipation and excitement as i did 30+ years ago
Poetry that is written from one true feelings always has far more impact on me as a reader Excellent
