The Secret To Life

There is a simple trick to life, based on secret not technique.
Revolving quite continuously around two delicate things;
Giving people what they want,
While knowing what they need.
And distinguishing who you are from who you'd rather be.

Author notes

Once you know what someone wants and you hold their weakness to
If your strong enough to use it, they can't get to you
All power lies in knowledge of what others give that they don't know they have

Don't give people second chances if they are going to hurt you

    It's sad to think we live in a world where this is necessary. The only critique I have to say about this piece is I'm pretty sure it should be a semicolon not a full stop at the end of the second line. Thank you for entering

    This is fabulous and so very true. Who doesn't want to give people what they need? It tends to spoil them though and make them become wonton and unappreciative....perhaps balance is in order. Wonderful thought provoking write!
