I broke a heart this morning.
It wasn't quite enough.
With fabled eloquence I simply
Lost all reverence for some love.
I hurt an almless babe
No more than three years yet.
I broke him with thirsty steel
And cruelty less than sane.
I turned both eyes without mercy
From every tragedy I knew.
Finally now, one tear drips in blood;
Can a devil beg forgiveness?
Please tell me what you think

I love a poem that makes you think about what the author meant, and this does that - there are a number of meanings I can think of here and we don't really need to know the answer/s. I like your writing style very much and I also like that you dare to write the unexpected and your truth. Please keep writing.

Interesting
I kind of like this piece, because it is daring in a way. The only question I have is, if in this poem you are reffering to breaking a lover's heart in particular.....-just curious....
