Loneliness is not a good thing
Too miss someone so much you feel them with you can be devastating. Yet the hope of renewal keeps your heart going and focusing on positive moments though you do miss them so much you ache to the core of your existence.

Let me say now...I think I have a new favorite by you. Yes, I love your romantic, loving writes, but this speaks deeper to my heart than anything else you have written. And you know I don't say things like that lightly.
Every word here describes so well the ache of being alone, even when we know we're loved. Much like a person can feel completely alone in a room full of people. Without both love and the presence of the one who loves us, we find ourselves empty of an essential element in our life.
I know that even after all this time, you do not do "alone" well at all. The full moon might be a small part of that melancholy feeling, but don't feel you need an excuse to feel this way. It happens. I've become rather accustomed to that separation from love in the last few months, and all I have to do is look in a mirror to see the damage it does. Small consolation at times, but at least you realize that you ARE loved, and by many.
No "tweaking" on this one, my friend...please? It's perfect as is. It has "GOLD" stamped all over it, if not in this contest then certainly in another one.

Mr. I asked myself that same question a million times before, and I still have no answer.
But I know you well. You are very loved in your life, and I have such a strong feeling that you won't be alone for much longer. Please remember Rick, to look in the right place, your true love is there, search your heart and settle for nothing than the very best. Because that's what your heart deserves.
Next time there's a full moon, take a sleeping pill and sleep right through it ( just joking ).

Ahhh, the mysteries of the full moon. It plays with the weakest parts of our existence. It makes us long for the old and sometimes yearn for the new. This was written with the pain of heartache..a pain we are all too familiar with.
Look to the full moon as a guide to what you want and speak to the universe..it will bring you want you desire.

I guess we have to save ourselves in this type of situation. It is our job to restore a broken heart. Thank goodness of the sweet memories of a loved one. I too, know this kind of lonely pain!!!It is sheer tormant especially at night. You conveyed the intense loneliness you feel from the absence of a loved one quite well in this piece.Alone time can be a solace if you will, a time to reflect on our lives, but loneliness to me is one of the hardest things to deal with. I wrote a poem called "Loneliness" if you care to take a read.Again, this piece is just filled with the loeliness you feel and I can truely relate as I am sure many others can as well.
