Maa's Life: A Flower

Your life is like a fragrant flower
making the ambience fragrant and vibrant
the flower that is brimming with nectar
giving every drop to the bees that hover
the flower that has  petals of many colours
and yet it is one, 'ONE FLOWER'
May I wish the flower stays fresh for ever------
For ever.....
For ever.......

what a wonderful poem, so generous and heartfelt ... I love your comparison with a flower that has many petals yet is ONE flower ... I see that we both adhere to the same truth ... I feel that this metaphor is very suitable and delightful, especially the idea about the many different colors of the petals ...
thank you so much for this kind and generous offering and for your wishes as well that the flower may stay fresh forever ... well, the physical flower may fall to dust, but its essence will not suffer from it ...

There were some comments on this metaphor, but not a word from you! That was disturbing. May be you were busy in celebrations. As expected came a touching comment from your pen. I literally wrote this poem in thre minutes. Hence i thought it was inadequate, you did not like, hence ignored it. with your words I attained satiety.

    So lovely.

There is a lot of wisdom and love in this birthday poem. You certainly know how to phrase a piece to make the reader feel its effects.

What a beautiful poem for Maa, Hemant. She's such a lovely person, inside and out and I know she's going to love this special poem for her. You've depicted her very well, just as she is at heart

I wish you the best in the contest, my friend

Aw this is sweet. An innocent touch of love. This could be interpreted as a little child or a girlfriend. Either way I love how you put this all together, goodluck in life

Neither a little child, nor a girlfriend.
Revered maa is my pen friend, a spiritual friend.
I have expressed an immense respect for her
