Wishing you were here hurts as much,
If not more than knowing you are gone.
My empty arms ache as much if not more
Than the pain of remembering how you felt wrapped in them.
When I close my eyes I can see you standing before me,
Only to open them to realize the room is as empty as my heart.
To wake to a home no longer filled with your laughther,
Is to wake up to a world without love and joy.
Please tell me what you think

oh wow...this is amazing...it so catches the sentiment of either a lover scorned or one who has lost a great love to death...i hope that you aren't in either of those situations? anyways just wanted to check in on everyone because i haven't been here in quite a while...umm great poem though so much sadness....umm yeah ok amazing...

Thanks for the great comment, and rest asured that neither death not being scorned are the case. Just that some one close to me has been away for a while and it will be a while before they return.

This is a sad poem. A few spelling errors, 'relize' should be 'realize' if you're American or 'realise' if you're British (not sure about other countries) and 'with out' doesn't need the space. I found this poem quite a sad one, I'm sorry it's personal
Thanks for your comment
