Rant: Diversity

When the fuck are people going to learn
Yes we’re all different, no we’ll never all be the same
Pain is found to the forced opinions of others
A little acceptance is all I ask, and pain would be gone

What will half the people here say when they hear
That I am not Christian, Catholic, or Jewish
What will they say when I think there God is the bane of mankind
Will they be left speechless? Will they never speak to me again?
Will they accept me for that? Or will they try to convince me that im wrong
Will they ask me what I really believe in, and actually care?
Or just blow me off like I don’t matter anyways?

If I were to say what I believe in,
Would you jump to the stereotypical opinion
Or might you actually ask me to describe my believe more?
Religion seems to cause more pain then war.

I have and have had a very diverse number of friendships
Some of them gay, some of them dumb rednecks
Some of them Christian, some Pagan.
Some who hate alcohol, and others bordering alcoholics.
Some white, some black, asain, american, hispanic.
All different in some way.

We’ll I’m ranting anyways.
I can proudly say I don’t give a shit about abortion!
What do you all think now? Am I just a bastard?
Sorry that I think everyone is entitled to there own choice
If you were to choose to abort your pregnancy, I’d stand by you!
If you were to choose to give your child for adoption, I’d stand by you!
If you were to choose to keep your child yourself, I’d fucking stand by you!!!
But who am I to talk, I’m just the bastard right?

I will try to learn more of there situation before I judge
And after I have made my judgment, will not ridicule just because I don’t agree

I will support my friend going to church I’ll walk with him there
