When I come home...
no, scratch that, when I Come back,
I will have lost a year...
and all I gained in exile, an exile I made
home
and you took that, as well...
a life, a love, a faith, a child-
all gone now as I return.
and now I return, a Green Scar...
but for all I've lost, I am more than I was.
You sent me away for what I was...
I return because of what I will be.

Though the author notes denote something entirely different than what I got out of this, lol, it was really nice. I kept envisioning a man at war, coming back home after a year of fighting. I liked that it's not necessarily what you intended, but I was still able to draw another story from it. Thanks for entering
