You should know by now,
Why I give you those cheeky smiles,
You seem to return them willingly,
Your heart's just in denial.
And you should know by now,
Why I keep looking sneakily your way,
You seem to do the same as me,
In your own so special way.
You should know by now,
Just how I feel inside,
It's the reason that I'm smiling,
Though you are acting blind.
And you should know by now,
Why my heart beats faster when you're near,
Not ever being close to you,
Brings out my deepest fear.
But you don't know these things,
And I know you never will,
Because I'm too shy to tell you,
You're more than just a thrill.
So I'll be waiting quietly,
Time slowly passing by,
Hoping that it'll click with you...
It's not too late to try.
