Wild Africa standing proud,
Full of countries, distant lands,
Poverty stricken, government ridden,
But always, always standing proud.
Cocoa skin, black beauties,
Bright white teeth, broadly grinning,
Always trying to make the best,
Out of something bad.
Diamonds, Gold, Oil,
Segregation, Beautification,
Um lunge took it all,
But still, Africa stands tall.
Wild deserts, high mountains,
Tribes generations old,
Ngiyakuthanda, Ndinokuda,
I love you, I love you,
Africa standing there so tall and proud,
Unjani Africa? Wenzen Jahne Africa?
You are so brave,
What you’ve been through,
Diamonds, oil, arms, gold,
Segregation, discrimination,
White people taking your land,
And corrupt governments taking your lives.
Hambani kahle, Salani kahle Africa,
Ngiyakuthanda, Ndinokuda Africa,
Ngingakusiza Africa?
Eish, Africa!

OMG! Eish! I saw the word "eish" again! It's been two years

This is great. You should actually try to get it published, you know. Try the poetry institute of Africa. They'd probably publish it, and pay you for it... but it's an awesome poem, with so much truth in it.

Ahh an Africa themed poem.
Not that I can relate as never been there, but very nicely written. -
