My house is rather old and quaint,
It sadly needs a coat of paint.
I don`t have time to do the chores
I spend my days all out of doors.
Capturing the forest`s hue
The changing tones of skies of blue.
Of meadows green, and flowers bloom
Hurry for they fade so soon.
Like cobblers wearing shoes quite tatty
To paint my house would get me ratty.
I am an artist first you see
Household chores are not for me.
Now where the heck did I leave that red crayon?

This was a hoot! Hey,I have a deluxe crayon box with a sharpener. And it's much better than drippy paint. So yeah,I myself with Grandson's who love to color. Identify with this cute little well versed humorous piece.
