If points were magic
like little wishes you could make come true,
I'd start by turning them into brain cells
to make all the brain dead minds of immoral genius
who have power
see something more and meaningful
than their own greed.
Then I'd take a few
and turn them into food
for feeding those who have none,
before sharing others among so many of poor health
giving them a reason to finally have hope.
Finally,
with any I had left to squander,
it would be for something
frivolous and silly, my personal reward,
a pure indulgence of my lusts,
no I won't be stupid to say what,
but what the heck,
if all the rest were fat and happy,
at least I could collect something for my noble gestures,
in the shape of a nice shiny trophy of some lurid texture,
representing the crowning moment of fulfilling my own secret desires,
quitely placing upon my memory's shelf,
having only a smile and wink to explain its victory.
