I went back today,
To that place I thought was gone.
I went back for the first time,
Since I found out the whole story.
I went back today,
And everything looked so different,
I never noticed before
How it shined with hope and promise;
For a love long gone.
Now it shows me wounded memories,
And lost potential.
It shows me my new life;
A life I love.

Yeah, so I drove around today and came to a place were something happened that could've maybe changed my life... It was strange thinking about what coul've been, because although it would've been good at the time, it might have not been so good in the long run... 'Sliding Doors' anyone?

It Kinda reminds me of an old saying: "IF I Would'a, Should'a,Could'a, But Didn"t" People tend to look back at things that would have altered their lives but to tell the truth about things, YOU"LL NEVER KNOW FOR SURE.
