Be present in your life

Don't walk around blind

Pretending everything is just fine

Dreams forgotten on a back shelf

 

Happy with come what may

Instead of taking control

Seizing the day

Simply fulfilling a role

 

Look within

Ask yourself

Do I have dreams on a shelf

Am I happy with my life-or am I getting by

 

Often we choose to live this way

Taking no chances-playing it safe

A wasted life if you ask me

    Life is ours to live any way we choose. The last stanza is pretty deep. A lot of us play it safe but i think one day we will wake up and realize our life has been wasted. I think i am going to try harder to live a full life.
