i wanted to go out and do it
reading books about drugs addictions
i wanted to have them all
[i wanted all the drugs i could get
so long as they got me high
and happy
for at least that point in time]

anything can become an addiction
people, places, habits and drugs
all have been at one point in time
an addition to me
i want the drugs
i want the knives
i want the poeple near
i want everything
that can keep me high

Wow deep! I've never done drugs. I guess there are times in my life If, I could, I would have gotten high. Nice write, good luck in the contest.

i like this. it's an interesting perspective and a different take ont he situation. i love the unique spin on the way it's written. i love the repetion of urges and wanting to be high because it makes every reader aware of the lengths you'll go to for something that keeps your adrenaline running strong. good write
