I lift this country up to you
To guide us in wholeness and truth
To defeat the evils that reside
Filling the emptiness that is inside
There are so many hurting and so much need
This country is corrupted with so much greed
One would just as soon kill their brother
Than take the time to witness to another
So much hate consumes this ground
As our hands remain bound
The word was the base of our foundation
To be a light through out the nations
Instead we are the poor example
On our own freedoms we stomp and trample
God hear the cries of the ones who stand
Up for what's right in this great land
Allow us to be your hands and feet
To never accept rejection and defeat
Our country is desperate for the love
That they can only receive from Heaven above
Cover this nation with your precious blood
Protect them Lord from the raging flood
Instill in the hearts of every man
To walk in the light of your divine plan
