What is love, exactly?
Is it the sound of twin beating hearts
Impossible not to hear
What about the weightless feeling
When their gaze meets yours
Maybe the smile that dances on your face
When they are on your mind
Perhaps the small converstaions
That keep your mind guessing
Endless pages of diary entries
About everything they are to you
The sweat that covered your palms
As you handed them the note
Even the tears that rolled down your cheeks
When you thought "We could never be"
How slow the hours seemed to pass
As you awaited the things that he would say
When your heart just stops
As he give you a reply
And when you fall into his embrace
When you find your "yes" was circled

A spin off of an older poem I wrote.
I got the ideas of most of this from my own, and my friends' past experiences with love. It's hard to explain the true definition, only when you feel it and go through can you fully understand it. Sometimes love favors you, but sometimes it hurts you in the end. One thing is for sure, you should never give up on it.
