Years since we last talked,
Maybe even more.
Wish to turn back the clock
Sadly, lying on the floor.
Reddish black was your favorite color,
Never mine. No, never mine.
I can imagine your face in screeching horror
As I lie, ‘pearls before swine,’
Many times, hadn’t I tried to tell you,
About school, ex-loves, and pain,
But you were always too far, and true
Were your words ‘isn’t it a shame.’
Kitchen knife beside cold hand,
That’s how I will do myself in,
How I wish to see your eyes on resulted plan.
The spring of blood, emerging from kin.
I can see you, trying to clean up the mess,
Covering my mistakes, again and again.
Call police and tell on broken in and the rest
Of atrocious lies. Lies is the fall of men.
I can see the ambulance rush to the scene,
Exploring my remains, taking notes,
You will lie and tell them I could have never been,
The one to slit my own wrist and throat.
Lead them on a goose chase to find killer,
An imaginary friend to help in your aid,
Anything to protect your pedestal image-the thriller
As to not point out to bad parenting, your face.
