What is a star?
Have you ever looked up
And noticed how they shine?
Some say a star is the soul of a loved one
Looking down. Protecting, caring, nurturing:
A guardian angel.
Some say a star is merely a nebula.
A concoction of hydrogen and dust, swirling in space.
Nothing but gaseous light.
I say a star is symbol of hope.
Look up and see how the stars
Never stop shining.
Even when the clouds veil it's tiny light,
The star never loose hope.
Once the clouds lift, the star still shines.
Even when the sun (just another star it’s self)
Over powers it’s brightness;
Come night fall, the little star shines.
Look up and see it looking down on you
And just like that star,
Never stop shining.

I love the use of words in it, lol, i almost needed my dictionary, hehe
But i believe like you that it is a symbol of hope, and its true that it never stops shining.
