The song of silent whispers
The aria of tears
The canticle of dreams
That transcends through the years
The unspoken melody
Forcing my soul to cry
Towards the heavens as they breathe
A relief filled sigh
The muted song in my heart
Is begging to be heard
Yet my ever practical head
Won't let it utter a word
I keep a silent message
Tucked away inside
Something that I try but fail
At trying to hide
The song of silent whispers
Becomes a soft melody
That with every minute
Grows in volume and intensity
But then as all songs must
This melody comes to an end
And the song of silent whispers
Becomes quiet again
