''Don't leave me or I'll be empty,''
the house whispers into the dark night
unstable already, it won't need a new companion
the three cats and the pretty girl were fine
show me a song, one just painted for me
''But I can't do that,'', I spy a little liar
a song is words with a melody, and melodies have forms
you could paint broken clock and broken hearts in an empty house
that could be your song
Trick or treat? I'm attempting to frighten you
with complicated words found on a porn site
I'm no good with a bloody mask and make-up
the scary image was ten dollars too expensive
on e-bay
''Help me, my world is crumbling,''
cried a wooden floor in an old house
the walls closed in and the roof fell through
perhaps the 1989 model house couldn't take the cliché of lonliness

In all my years of poetry (only 6) I've never heard a poem like this. I liked it. It was actually pretty interesting. I was unable to tell which one you entered the contest for though.
I liked how you threw something like e-bay in there. Some people like to write about things that are not widely known and its difficult for the reader to understand because they do not know what the writer is talking about.
