Another Journey, Second Chapter

It was here, where this body knew that there was change
approaching but to what means, this I'm afraid, can't
answer at this point in time of my life

Of everything lost within trepidation, another formality
was reconstructed along these brittle walls; demeanors
quickly stood forth, thinking up of another way to
simply breathe -- no, to be simply alive for this moment

'They' spoke of fallen limbs as the sign that life ended
yet none dared to prove my own theory,,,

Where there is death, life starts anew

For now, even if a little, my ink shall become the
blood and this motionless paper the bandages...

And, every precious minute standing will encapsulate
these unknown emotions as I walk my path despite

the camera lens loosing its focus

A very nice piece, although I had a hard time finding the focus of this piece. But having read several of this "Confessional poetry type" now, I am led to believe that it is more an unconscious train of thought that has it's own way of weaving itself into the another's mind. There is some lovely phrasing and a few lines that just clung to the reader. Thanks for this great entry, I enjoyed it very much. Hugs, Bunny
