Kids can be so amusing
But yet they can be so mean
They are at the age of innocence
But yet their words are so extreme
The sounds of the voices haunt you
Making it impossible to sleep
They seem to satisfy the thoughts
That hide the happiness we seek
I wonder how you can get away
With telling me it's just because im young
How can you even lie to me
My emotions are so high strung
I guess I have to let this go
The words of the young and naive
I cannot let these feelings show
For I cannot be weak
But I leave you with one thought
Some food for the mind
The next time you use your words to hurt
Remember the tainted nursery rhyme
"Stick and stones may break the bones
But words will shatter the soul"
.....

kids are mean and they effect your entire life. A lesson I learned well. so if you are a kid or if you have kids PLEASE think about it before you decide to be a bitch. The edge is so close for all of us
