What makes me so unloveable
It's not what you see
When you look at me...
That's only part of the problem
What makes me so unloveable,
Is the way I hide my feelings
Never letting anyone know me
Afraid of loving...
Afraid of being hurt
What makes me so unloveable,
Is the space I keep
Protecting my heart...
Really only hurting myself
What makes me so unloveable,
Is the memories in my mind
Painful memories I can't get over...
Not that I've tried all that hard
What makes me so unloveable,
Is what I say to people
When they need me...
Conforting words to me are unheard of
What makes me so unloveable,
Is not so much about me
It's not exactly my fault...
It's because you hurt me
What makes me so unloveable,
Is that a person like me
So different, So pained...
Can I really ever be loved???
What makes me so unloveable,
Is my attitude
Towards life, towards love...
I act tough, but I still get hurt
That's what makes me so unloveable.
