war is all around
gunshots just a sound
death just a word
pain just a feeling
fear just a way of life

war is all around
no one understands
heros wounded
parents disbelieve
encouraged to leave

war is all around
peace cannot be found
jobs are lost
cities fall
soliers disappear

war is all around
blood stains the ground
all is lost
all is changed
rearranged

war is all around
gunshots just a sound
death just a word
pain just a feeling
fear a way of life

this is a poem that i had to write for history but i write better on here than on paper so.....
