Tears flow slowly
A trickle here and there.
Slowly your hand reaches up
And destroys the path of water
From my eye to my chin.
My cheek is wiped clean,
My soul relinquished and white.
Your hand, your eyes, your heart
My tears, my cheeks, my grip
Without you I am broken.
Without you my soul is black.
Make me whole,
Make me clean.
Please tell me what you think

Sweet
This is so sweet and I wish that I had someone that was there for me like whoever this is is for you. Some of us are just luckier than others I guess. I really liked how you described the movement of the tears in this one, not too wordy but you got the point across

Thanks for the comment. This poem is about God and how no matter what I do he'll always be there to fix it when I break something. He always kisses my boo-boos and makes them "all better" and wipes away the tears that flow from my soul. If you want, you could always have him to. All you have to do is talk to me or someone else you know who has God in their lives.

I love this! It's short and sweet yet has so much meaning. There are 2 things I think of when I read this, but I want to know the inspiration behind it...So lemme know!
I love you and thanks for our talk last night...I really needed it. I love my Big and not one thing will EVER change that.

I was feeling...abandoned by just about everyone. I wrote this while in Dayton during church with Kaylea when I had sat and written a whole long thing about God and his influence in my life and why I can't seem to get back with him.
I love you too! You're amazing and you're so sweet and pretty! No one will ever replace you - you're my favorite!!
